ARALDICA CASTELVERO S.C.A.
Castel Boglione · Province of Asti · Piemonte
Between Monferrato and Langhe, Araldica Castelvero gathers approximately one hundred and forty member growers across nine hundred hectares, making cooperation a tool for precision rather than just volume: small vineyards pooled to achieve scale without losing the identity of individual terroirs. Based in Castel Boglione, the winery translates Piedmont's indigenous grape varieties into three guaranteed DOCG denominations. The range of DOCGs covers three distinct registers: Barbera d'Asti, the red and juicy backbone of the area; Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato, aromatic and niche; and Terre Alfieri, where Arneis and Nebbiolo converse on a hilly patch of land. Each remains a recognizable expression of its corner of the Asti province, calibrated for quality in the vineyard before yield. Far from flattening, the cooperative structure here acts as a sounding board for a mosaic of parcels. Visitors to Castel Boglione can stop for a tasting and verify in the glass how these three denominations coexist under a single direction.
