AZ. AGR. LE TRE SORELLE SOC. SEMPLICE
Colli al Metauro · Province of Pesaro e Urbino · Marche
From Colli al Metauro, in the Pesaro area, Le Tre Sorelle winery manages four protected denominations that intertwine the two great Marche terroirs: that of Verdicchio and that of Montepulciano. Vernaccia di Serrapetrona appears in a dual role, both sparkling and red, alongside Cònero, a structured red that matures for at least twenty-four months before revealing itself. The heart of the story, however, lies in the two Verdicchio Riserva wines, originating from Matelica and the Castelli di Jesi: the same white variety, shaped by different microclimates, yields two distinct expressions and demonstrates how much the soil influences the final result. Each wine meets or exceeds the regional minimums for alcohol content and aging, a sign of management that chooses rigor as its method. Four labels, three types, one common thread: interpreting the Marche region through its emblematic grape varieties, without flattening the differences that the territory imposes from one side to the other.
