Azienda Agricola Magnelli Leonardo

In Castell'Arquato, where the Piacenza foothills define a terroir spanning nine municipalities, Leonardo Magnelli cultivates the sole denomination of his vineyard, Val Tidone IGT. The valley's calcareous and clay soils nourish a range of grape varieties, from aromatic to classic—Malvasia bianca aromatica, Moscato bianco, Trebbiano romagnolo—long rooted in this corner of the Emilian Apennines. From these foundations, the winery produces both white and red wines, without seeking concentration at all costs. The labels include still and sparkling versions, all above 10.5% alcohol, calibrated to the sunny slopes that delineate the Tidone valley.
