AZIENDA AGRICOLA STEFANO MANCINELLI
Morro d'Alba · Province of Ancona · Marche
On the hills of Morro d'Alba, about ten kilometers from the Adriatic, Stefano Mancinelli's estate cultivates twenty-five hectares of vineyard across four Marche DOCG denominations. For over forty years, the work has followed a declared criterion: each wine must reflect the character of the grape variety that generates it, without overlaps. The range brings different registers into dialogue. There are the white wines from Verdicchio, in the Riserva di Matelica and Castelli di Jesi versions; there is the red of Cònero, a Montepulciano aged for at least twenty-four months; and there is the Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, offered in both sparkling and red forms. Four expressions that tell the story of the Marche hinterland's vocation, balancing mineral tension and structure. The estate welcomes visitors: a stop in the cellar allows one to follow, glass after glass, how terroir and careful measure shape each of these wines into their distinct physiognomy. It is well worth stopping to taste them side by side.
