Azienda Vitivinicola Villa Rosa di Illari Andrea

Villa Rosa, managed by Andrea Illari, oversees seventeen hectares distributed between Vernasca and Alseno, in the Piacenza Hills. Now in its fourth generation, the family winery combines updated viticultural techniques — Guyot and spurred cordon training — with a production system that remains faithful to the grape varieties of the region. Its sole protected origin is Val Tidone IGT, offered in white, red, and sparkling versions. At its core are local varieties — Malvasia bianca aromatica, Moscato bianco, and Trebbiano romagnolo — vinified with alcohol levels above 10.5%. Around this denomination, the winery builds a direct commercial offering: both bottled and bulk wine, distributed nationwide with home deliveries. This model brings the producer closer to the consumer without intermediaries, consistent with the family dimension of the winery. By concentrating its activity on a single IGT reference, Villa Rosa interprets the Piacenza Hills through everyday wines, where the aromatic vocation of Malvasia remains the most recognizable trait of the range.
