Barbarossa works with four DOCG denominations from Marche, a range covering protected areas distributed across nearly forty municipalities. The portfolio spans from whites to reds and sparkling wines: the two Verdicchio Riserva di Matelica and dei Castelli di Jesi lead the way for great aging whites; the Cònero, made from Montepulciano and Sangiovese with at least twenty-four months of aging, presides over the red wine segment; the Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, offered as both a sparkling wine and a red, adds a rare local note. Four denominations, four distinct grammars. Everything originates from the hillside vineyards near Candelara, at an altitude of 204 meters, where the sea breeze and elevation leave their signature on every label.
