On the slopes of Bricco Quaglia, in Costigliole d'Asti, four generations of the Boeri family have tended vines planted since the early 1900s. The altitude and soil composition define a terroir that favors three Piemontese DOCG denominations: Barbera d'Asti, Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato, and Terre Alfieri. These yield diverse expressions of the Asti vineyard, from the full fruit and vinous texture of Barbera to the more aromatic and vibrant notes of Ruchè, each tied to a precise patch of hillside. The winery has built its reputation among the region's most esteemed Barbera producers by combining family continuity with contemporary viticultural practices, without losing sight of an heritage passed down from hand to hand. The result is a range that thoughtfully narrates this corner of Monferrato. Those who venture up to the vineyards can explore them in person and taste the wines where they are born, directly experiencing the relationship between slope, exposure, and the glass.
