In Cormons, on the Gorizia hills, Branko Wines operates within a single denomination, Collio Goriziano DOC, where aromatic varieties and classic white grape varieties coexist. Igor's oenological journey, begun in 1998, has steered the winery towards a more defined identity: today, the vineyard covers over seven hectares of specialized plantings, forming the basis of a production focused on white wines. Sauvignon, Friulano, Ribolla gialla, and Riesling originate from soils shaped by the confluence of Alpine and Mediterranean influences, a condition that marks both grape ripening and wine structure. Each vintage reflects the mineral backbone of the terroir and a technical precision that balances aromaticity and restraint, without succumbing to easy perfume.
