BUSSI MAURO Az. Agr.
Treiso · Province of Cuneo · Piemonte
Mauro Bussi's winery, located in Treiso in the Cuneo area, is born from the convergence of two family vineyard legacies: one rooted in Cà Veja, the other in the Bongiovanni hamlet, between the high altitudes of the Langa and the lower hills towards Barbaresco. Cultivated by grandparents and parents on distinct terroirs, these two parallel paths now form a single production reality. From these vineyards, Bussi crafts four Piedmontese denominations, all DOCG — Barolo, Barbaresco, Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba, and Dogliani — each an expression of its designated area: the great red wines from Nebbiolo alongside the Dolcetto, in a range that translates the differences in altitude and soil of the region. The original division of the vineyards thus becomes a richness of character rather than fragmentation. The winery welcomes visitors for tastings and direct encounters with the wines: stopping in Treiso means discerning in a single tasting how two family histories converge into a unified Langhe project.
