Cà Duso

On the Vicentine hills of Costabissara, Cà Duso carries forward a family intuition: that of the founders who first recognized the winemaking vocation of these slopes. Today, Giovanni Battista and Lino Duso continue the work started by their father Angelo and uncle Beniamino, holding firm to a principle that spans generations — wine is a way of telling the story of the territory, not of conforming to a model. From the vineyards come Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Garganega, and Tocai friulano, grapes that breathe the breadth of the DOC delle Venezie. These give rise to white, rosé, and ramato wines built on two concrete foundations: the geology of the soils and the memory of those who first believed in these hills. This approach rejects standardization, instead seeking a correspondence between glass and place, entrusting the family's continuity with the task of preserving a recognizable style within such a vast denomination.
