A cooperative winery rooted in Alta Vallesina, Cantine Sociale di Matelica e Cerreto d'Esi brings together four of the Marche's most esteemed denominations, all DOCG. The heart of their portfolio is Verdicchio di Matelica Riserva, an inland white that demands eighteen months of aging and at least 12.5% alcohol, drawing a taut, vertical minerality from its high-altitude vineyards. Around this core revolve three different expressions: Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, available as both spumante and red; Cònero, a red from Montepulciano and Sangiovese overlooking the Adriatic; and Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva, a hilly counterpoint to the mountain Verdicchio. These four DOCG wines cover whites and reds, still and sparkling, offering a compact showcase of high-end Marche oenology.
