Eredi Ugurgieri operates from Podere Olmo, a south-facing estate nine kilometers south of Siena at 450 meters elevation, where sangiovese vines dominate sun-drenched slopes. The vineyard's sedimentary soils of galestro and alberese anchor wines rooted in the Chianti terroir. A new generation of the Ugurgieri family has modernized both vineyard and cellar, propelling the historic property—held by the family since 867—into contemporary winemaking.
