Komic traces its bottling legacy to 1994, when Claudio and Francesco began transforming fruit from Ponca di Gardisciutta into a focused line of white wines. The vineyard knowledge runs deeper—grandparents Eugenio and Slavica first recognized the site's singular character. Now in the hands of sisters Elisa and Sara, the producer tends vines along Collio's Italian-Slovenian border, where mineral soils and microclimate converge. Their whites, primarily Friuli's signature varieties, distill terroir specificity into clean, food-driven bottles.
