Poggio Ridente

Poggio Ridente operates on the volcanic slopes of Mount Vesuvius in San Giuseppe Vesuviano, where the De Luca Picione family produces wines across three protected designations. Drawing from Vesuvio DOC, Catalanesca del Monte Somma IGT, and Pompeiano IGT classifications, the estate crafts distinct expressions: structured reds blending Piedirosso and Aglianico with mineral depth from volcanic terroir, and whites from Catalanesca and Falangina that capture the peninsula's distinctive character. Ancient grape knowledge and modern technique converge on these steep vineyard parcels within the National Park.
