Tornesi has shaped Montalcino's winemaking since 1967, when Gino Tornesi registered his vineyards for Brunello production as one of the consortium's founding growers. Today, three generations—Maurizio, Renata, and Elisa—craft Brunello di Montalcino DOCG from Sangiovese vines cultivated at Località Le Benducce. The winery's commitment runs deeper than technique: every family member has lived and worked on the estate, stewarding its growth through decades of refinement and preserving the authentic character that defines this singular Tuscan terroir.
