Villa Era

Villa Era stands in Vigliano Biellese, where Piedmont's alpine foothills define two austere wine territories. The producer commands both Gattinara and Ghemme DOCGs, drawing Nebbiolo—locally called Spanna—from vineyards of exacting provenance. Each wine undergoes patient maturation: Gattinara demands 35 months minimum, Ghemme 34, coaxing structure and depth from grapes that require such discipline. Vespolina and Uva Rara complete the blend, adding textural nuance to wines built for longevity rather than immediate pleasure.
