Martignana di Po

Along the alluvial curves of the Po River in the Cremona province, Martignana di Po relies on fertile, well-drained sandy soils shaped by historic river dynamics. This precise riverine environment yields the highly prized Melone Mantovano IGP, a sweet melon restricted to a narrow zone of 41 municipalities. The silt-rich plains also support high-quality livestock farming, allowing the area to host 17 protected designations.
