Trinità d'Agultu e Vignola

Known historically as Vignolas in official eighteenth-century Kingdom of Sardinia records, the windswept coastal municipality of Trinità d'Agultu e Vignola hosts 16 protected food and wine denominations. This maritime territory provides a rugged granite terroir that shapes Vermentino di Gallura DOCG, a prized white wine cultivated within a select zone of only 23 municipalities. The steep hillsides also nurture the local Colli del Limbara IGT. Here, the salty sea breezes and dry soils concentrate sugars and aromatics in the grapes, yielding wines that reflect this unique northern Gallura environment.
