This ancient land is the birthplace of Barbagia IGT, a highly localized wine denomination limited to a tight zone of only 15 municipalities. Here, weathered granite soils and sharp temperature swings shape grapes that also feed into the prestigious Cannonau di Sardegna DOC. The resulting wines offer a direct taste of Oniferi’s dry, wind-swept hillsides, far removed from the island's coastal plains.
