A.R.A. snc dei F.lli Trentin
Arquà Petrarca · Province of Padova · Veneto
In Arquà Petrarca, a medieval village in the Euganean Hills of Padua, A.R.A. dei fratelli Trentin links its production to a single DOCG: Fior d'Arancio. The wine is made from Moscato giallo and local aromatic grape varieties, on a relief where volcanic and calcareous soils alternate to nourish the fragrant complexity that gives the denomination its name. From this base, the company produces three expressions of the same fruit: the still white, the sparkling, and the passito, all over ten and a half degrees alcohol, each offering a different interpretation of the initial aromaticity. The area involves seventeen municipalities and yields a territorial signature that re-emerges intact in every version, from the liveliness of the bubbles to the concentration of the sweet wine. It is a single-themed production only in appearance: the aroma of Moscato giallo remains the common thread, but it changes register depending on the vinification, showcasing the versatility of a grape variety that the Euganean Hills have chosen as their emblem.
