In Serrapetrona, on the hills of the province of Macerata, Alberto Quacquarini brings together four Marche denominations with maximum guarantee. At its heart is Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, a dark-skinned grape vinified as sparkling and red wine, alongside the structured reds of Cònero, where Montepulciano and Sangiovese yield wines of body and longevity. Verdicchio completes the picture with two reserves of distinct character: one originates from the calcareous slopes of Matelica, the other from the broader area of Castelli di Jesi, and both require eighteen months of aging before revealing their mineral depth.
