Andrea Forti Wines

Andrea Forti Wines operates within seven Trentino denominations, five DOCs and two IGTs, sketching a geography from the Rotaliana valley floor to broader indications like Vigneti delle Dolomiti and Vallagarina. The register shifts from Teroldego Rotaliano, a red from volcanic soils, to the umbrella of Trentino DOC which embraces dozens of municipalities, touching Casteller and Valdadige along the course of the Adige river. The heart of the work, however, lies in the metodo classico: the Trento DOC sparkling wines, refermented in the bottle, require at least fifteen months of aging and are articulated into three distinct vintage cuvées. It is here that technical precision and territorial expression meet, in the cooler altitudes of the region, where thermal excursion preserves the acidity necessary for bubbles. Between still and sparkling wines, the producer composes a catalog that traverses the enological Trentino rather than concentrating on a single area, interpreting each denomination for what it can offer.
