Aversa DOCFalerno del Massico DOCGalluccio DOC+2

In Carinola, amidst the volcanic soils of the province of Caserta, Anfora Daniele oversees five protected denominations that draw an almost complete map of Caserta wines. Three are DOC—Falerno del Massico, Aversa, and Galluccio—and two are IGT, Terre del Volturno and Roccamonfina, a range that brings together structured reds, mineral whites, and more freely regulated local productions. Reading the grape varieties follows their origins: Falerno entrusts Aglianico and Piedirosso with a structure that demands at least twelve months of aging, while Aversa thrives on Asprinio and its sharp notes. Galluccio splits into white and red versions, and Roccamonfina remains anchored to long-established local varieties. Each label adheres to alcohol thresholds and maturation times set by their respective regulations. What emerges is the portrait of a producer who doesn't chase a single typology, but deeply understands the ampelographic stratification of a corner of Campania where the volcano still dictates the soil composition.
