AZ. AGR. BELLOTTO & C. S.S.

Founded in 1994 in Portogruaro, the Bellotto family works with two denominations that encapsulate the spirit of eastern Veneto, both of DOCG rank. On the white wine side, there's Lison, born from soils rich in calcium, potassium, and magnesium: here, the temperate and ventilated climate sharpens the Tai grape and its accompanying varieties, yielding elegantly structured wines. On the red wine side, Piave Malanotte sets a completely different pace — the robust, long-aging Raboso grape demands thirty-six months before finding its balance. This is a land where vines took root relatively late, after 1850, and perhaps for this reason, the winery asserts control over the entire supply chain, from vineyard to bottle, without delegation. Visitors follow this continuous journey: an itinerary that starts in the rows and leads to the cellar, where white and red demonstrate how distinct two denominations born just a few kilometers apart can be.
