Azienda Vitivinicola Gazzola Pietro

Established in the early 1970s on a small farm in the mid-Val Trebbia, Pietro Gazzola's winery operates in one of the most suitable areas of the Piacenza province. The management has remained family-run and deliberately unpretentious, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, without chasing fleeting trends. Its unique denomination, `Val Tidone IGT`, is expressed in three versions—white, red, and sparkling—crafted from `Malvasia bianca aromatica`, `Moscato bianco`, and `Trebbiano romagnolo`. These grape varieties tell the story of the border Emilian hills, where effervescence is an everyday language rather than a mere oenological whim. The result combines technical precision with viticultural practices deeply rooted in the territory, without one prevailing over the other. Gazzola Pietro does not aim for a vast catalog but for coherence: a single geographical indication, interpreted through the aromatic qualities of the grapes and the freshness that the Val Trebbia imparts.
