Luciana Dini's winery, based in Sant'Angelo in Vado, spans four Marche `DOCG` denominations, a range that covers a significant portion of the region's elite viticulture. The `Cònero` rests for twenty-four months before revealing its structure; the `Vernaccia di Serrapetrona`, on the other hand, moves across different registers, from red to sparkling, showcasing unusual versatility. Around these revolve the two `Verdicchio` wines—`Verdicchio di Matelica` and `Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi`, both in the Riserva version—which the `disciplinare` mandates to age for at least eighteen months. It is during this resting period that the white wines develop the profound minerality that has made `Verdicchio` one of the region's benchmarks. The producer thus unites two Marche souls, the full-bodied red and the long-aging white, without flattening them into a single style. Four zones, four distinct grammars: the catalog reads like a condensed map of regional viticulture.
