BACELLI MARIA TERESA

Maria Teresa Bacelli works in Apiro, in the province of Macerata, on slopes that have shaped the sparkling and red wine identity of the Marche region. Her scope covers four DOCG denominations, which can be grouped by family: the great white wines from Verdicchio in the Matelica and Castelli di Jesi reserves, the structured red of Cònero, and, the recognizable heart of the range, Vernaccia di Serrapetrona. It is precisely the latter that demonstrates the winemaker's discipline: from Vernaccia nera, in a restricted area of only three municipalities, both sparkling and red wines are born, each bearing the mineral signature of demanding terroirs. With a minimum alcohol content of 11.5%, these wines combine freshness and structure in a balance that few producers command with such clarity. The four DOCG are not an exhibition of labels but four ways of exploring the same Marche landscape, from Verdicchio riserva to Vernaccia, with the same demand for precision.
