Bagnarol Franco

From San Vito al Tagliamento, in the province of Pordenone, Bagnarol Franco operates within the boundaries of Friuli DOC, the denomination that encompasses 156 municipalities in the region. It's an area capable of bringing fruits to full maturity: every wine surpasses the minimum alcohol threshold of 10%, a sign of successful harvests in the northeast. The range covers the entire stylistic breadth permitted by the denomination. There are still whites from classic grape varieties—Friulano, Pinot grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, and Ribolla gialla—expressed in mineral and crisp versions; there are sparkling wines; and there are reds, including the most refined and complex blends. Thus, a single denomination, interpreted in all its stylistic amplitude, from a taut and immediate sip to a structure that demands time. Franco's skill lies in this ability to navigate the spectrum of Friuli DOC without forcing, allowing the grape variety and the vintage to define the character of each bottle.
