On the Iblei hills, where Chiaramonte Gulfi overlooks the Ragusa reliefs, Battaglia Graziella cultivates nine hectares dedicated to Nero d'Avola, Frappato, and other grape varieties that make up the Sicilia DOC denomination. Born from a family tradition of home production, the winery has taken the form of a niche reality, where wines seek a marked yet measured profile, capable of conveying the mineral component of these soils. The two Sicilian denominations it operates under — the DOC and the broader IGP — frame a range designed more for definition than for volume. The result is red wines of clear character, in which the grape variety remains legible and the Iblei landscape provides a recognizable backdrop.
