Bertoli Merelli Giovanni

Bertoli Merelli Giovanni is located in Carpaneto Piacentino, within the Val Tidone area, the sole IGT on which the company focuses its work. It is a territory of nine municipalities on the Emilian side, where aromatic white grapes find favorable conditions among moderate hills and soils capable of retaining freshness and aroma. The vineyard relies on three grapes that define its identity: Malvasia bianca aromatica, Moscato bianco, and Trebbiano romagnolo, varieties that bring together the fragrant and the more mineral and fruity aspects of the denomination. From here, a deliberately broad range of formats is born, with still whites and reds alongside sparkling versions, all with a minimum alcohol content of 10.5 percent. It is a production designed for the table, where versatility is as important as typicality: wines ready to accompany a meal without dominating it. In this corner of Emilia-Romagna, Bertoli Merelli interprets the Val Tidone terroir through accessible varietals, measuring its success by everyday enjoyment rather than the pursuit of a wine solely for meditation.
