BOSCO DEL MERLO

Bosco del Merlo is located along the strip connecting western Friuli to eastern Veneto, where clay and gravelly soils impart distinct characteristics to the wines. The winery covers three protected denominations, each with its own interpretation: Lison DOCG entrusted to the indigenous Tai, Piave Malanotte DOCG built on Raboso and aged for at least 36 months, and Friuli DOC which broadens the range from the freshest whites to Ribolla gialla and Chardonnay. It's a mosaic that contrasts opposing times and styles: the aromatic readiness of the whites and the long wait that Raboso requires to build structure and fruit persistence. Three labels, one territory, interpreted from different angles. The winery opens its doors for tastings, and it is here that the comparison becomes tangible: tasting the three denominations in sequence allows one to measure how the same landscape can express itself in such distinct registers.
