CaFelice
Nimis · Province of Udine · Friuli-Venezia Giulia
CaFelice was founded in 1961 when Felice Bressani planted the first vineyards near Nimis, focusing on the indigenous grape varieties of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The name itself declares its belonging: it combines "Ca'"—house in Friulian, but also "here"—with the founder's name, rooting the company both to the place and to his memory. Today, Michele continues that territorial commitment. Three denominations, all DOCG, outline a journey through the wines that the territory best preserves: Ramandolo, from the sweet Verduzzo Friulano; Rosazzo, from crisp blends; and Colli Orientali del Friuli Picolit, concentrated and demanding. These are three distinct but coherent voices, linked by the same choice of local grape varieties and the knowledge passed down from generation to generation, guiding each harvest. In a small area of the Udine hills, CaFelice brings together sweet and dry styles without hierarchy, as if each of the three zones answered a different question posed to the same landscape. The thread that unites them is the founder's legacy, still legible in the name.
