Founded in 1939 by the spontaneous union of winegrowers from the Veronese Classica area, this cooperative winery interprets two top denominations: `Amarone della Valpolicella` and `Recioto della Valpolicella`, both DOCG. The grapes remain the canonical varieties of the area—`Corvina`, `Corvinone`, and `Rondinella`—cultivated according to established methods and subjected to appassimento (drying) before vinification, the gesture that separates these wines from the rest of the valley. The `Amarone` rests for at least twenty-four months, a period during which it builds structure and complexity; the `Recioto` shares its varietal base but leans towards a sweet profile, a memory of the territory's oldest practice. Eight decades of cooperative work have deposited a collective expertise measured in the consistency of the two wines rather than in a single vintage.
