Based in Villa di Briano, in the province of Caserta, Cantine Palazzo Marchesale oversees five Campanian denominations distributed across as many municipalities, a range that alternates between DOC and IGT. The重心 lies in the reds of Falerno del Massico and Galluccio, where Aglianico and Piedirosso yield wines with at least twelve months of aging; alongside these are expressions linked to Asprinio, including a brut sparkling wine. It is precisely Asprinio that reveals the most unique characteristic of the house: it comes from pergola training systems up to twelve meters high and manual harvesting in the historic lands of Benfidi and Vanacore, a vertical viticulture with few equals. Completing the picture are Terre del Volturno and Roccamonfina IGT, managed with oenological supervision across basins of eighty-two and twenty-five municipalities respectively. The portfolio thus forms a journey through the viticultural Casertano, from the volcanic slopes of Massico to the plains of Aversa, bringing together different registers under a single direction.
