From Bagnara Calabra, since 1967, Careri SAS di Careri Ferdinando & C. has been contributing to define the identity of Torrone di Bagnara IGP. The company masters both variants recognized by local tradition: the Martiniana, identifiable by its sugar coating, and the Torrefatto Glassato, sealed with a vitrified finish. In both, toasted almonds and spices compose a nougat with a distinct character. The value lies in control: each batch adheres to a methodical management of texture and flavor, distinguishing the artisan within a single-delimited zone where the protected name coincides with one territory.
