Carpanese Cirillo

On the Euganean Hills, near Teolo in the province of Padua, Carpanese Cirillo operates within the Colli Euganei Fior d'Arancio DOCG, where volcanic soils and south-facing exposure create ideal conditions for Moscato giallo and aromatic white varieties. It is a landscape of igneous origin, and that mineral matrix transfers into the glass as a recognizable trait. The winery expresses the denomination in three styles — still wine, spumante, and passito — each with an alcohol content above 10.5%, offering a range that goes from aromatic freshness to the concentrated sweetness of the passito. The aromaticity of Moscato giallo remains the common thread, modulated by the winemaking choice rather than obscured. The company opens its doors to visitors: guided tastings can be booked, and on weekends, themed dinners are offered, while on weekdays, groups of at least twenty people are welcomed by reservation. It is the most tangible opportunity to read, glass after glass, the transition from volcanic soil to the character of Fior d'Arancio.
