Casa Divina Provvidenza

Casa Divina Provvidenza has a precise origin date: 1821, when the Vatican State ceded the estate to the Cosmi family in Nettuno. Since then, three generations have reassembled the property around the native grape varieties of Lazio—Cesanese, Montepulciano, and Sangiovese—preserved in this coastal strip for over two centuries. The sole denomination championed is Roma DOC, interpreted primarily through its white wines: base versions, reserves, and amiable interpretations that speak of the volcanic soils and the Mediterranean breath of the Roman coastline. The result is a profile that unites the area's agricultural heritage with a broad stylistic range, capable of moving from dry sips to softer ones without losing reference to the territory. The winery is open for visits: those arriving in Nettuno can tour the cellar and taste the different expressions of the denomination on-site, observing how the same terroir supports such varied registers.
