Cascina del Pozzo

🏡 Tastings & visitsRoero DOCG

In Castellinaldo d'Alba, on the slopes of Roero, the Marchisio family has been cultivating vineyards since the early 1900s: five generations that have provided continuity to the same agricultural practice. From this land comes Roero DOCG, the estate's sole denomination, which takes shape in Nebbiolo reds, Arneis whites, and sparkling wine, each aged according to rigorous standards. Family continuity here is not a biographical detail but a key to understanding: the viticultural knowledge accumulated over more than a century settles into the bottles and explains their balance. It is a heritage passed down from hand to hand, finding in Nebbiolo and Arneis two complementary expressions of the same Roero slope, one aiming for structure, the other for freshness. The estate welcomes tastings all year round: stopping at Cascina del Pozzo offers direct access to a producer deeply rooted in their land, where each glass encapsulates five generations of work and the distinct character of a specific hill.
