Comelli Andrea, a fourth-generation family operation in Nimis, oversees six hectares of vines across the rolling hills of Colli Orientali del Friuli. Located between the Adriatic and Alpine foothills, the estate harvests Picolit, Verduzzo Friulano, and Friulano grapes to produce three DOCG wines: the sweet Ramandolo, mineral-driven Rosazzo, and structured Picolit ranging from dry to passito. With its small livestock holdings complementing vineyard work, the farm embodies integral agriculture. Today led by the founder's son Renato, the winery welcomes visitors to taste wines rooted in generational expertise.
