Fattoria La Ripa

Fattoria La Ripa traces its roots to the 15th century, when the property belonged to Antonio Maria Gherardini, whose daughter was immortalised in Leonardo's Gioconda. The estate occupies a strategic position on the Florence-Siena borderland, near the historic Via Francigena pilgrimage route. Today, the family-owned winery produces Chianti Classico from Sangiovese and complementary red varieties, welcoming visitors to explore centuries of Tuscan winemaking history in the High Chianti Classico zone.
