Frea Lorenzo e Giovanni works Montaldo Roero, in the heart of Piedmont's Roero DOCG zone spanning 19 municipalities. The estate produces distinctive expressions across the denomination's spectrum: structured reds from Nebbiolo, crisp whites from Arneis, and refined sparkling wines. Each release reflects the volcanic limestone terroir that defines Roero, with red wines developing complexity through mandatory aging of at least 20 months in wood, while whites capture the brightness characteristic of this elevated terrain.
