Gigante Adriano

In 1957, Adriano's grandfather traded four decades of milling expertise for viticulture, acquiring vineyards in Corno di Rosazzo to plant Friulano grapes on the Rocca Bernarda hillside. That pioneering venture now continues under Adriano and his wife Giuliana. Their three DOCG zones—Ramandolo's honeyed Verduzzo Friulano, Rosazzo's mineral-driven whites, and Picolit from Colli Orientali—thrive in terrain layered with calcareous marls and sandstone, protected northward by the Julian Alps and tempered by Adriatic breezes that intensify fruit aromatics.
