In 2001, siblings Marilisa Allegrini and Walter expanded their winemaking venture from Valpolicella to Bolgheri, a coastal Tuscan zone where maritime influence shapes distinctive white and red wines. Poggio al Tesoro cultivates Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc across its vineyards, crafting Bolgheri DOC reds alongside crisp Vermentino and Sauvignon blanks. The estate's positioning yields wines of marked personality, where coastal terroir and careful vineyard work converge to reveal the territory's minerality and character.
