Polencic Isidoro

Polencic Isidoro commands a historic vineyard in Plessiva, at the heart of Collio Goriziano. The family's roots run deep: generations ago, the estate grew cherries and vegetables under Austro-Hungarian rule; since the 1990s, three brothers have narrowed focus to viticulture, expanding vine acreage and bottling their own wines. Their whites—Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Friulano, Ribolla Gialla and aromatics—thrive on Collio's mineral soils. The new tasting room opens onto the vineyard landscape, where disciplined row management shapes grapes into DOC-certified expression.
