Tenuta Prato al Sole operates across two historic properties in the Val d'Arno di Sopra DOC zone near Arezzo. The estate's first vineyard, established near the medieval village of San Leonino, sits in terrain long defined by viticulture; a second podere acquired later at San Pancrazio—built on the ruins of a 15th-century castle—was reclaimed and restored to preserve its original stonework. The property now crafts rosso, bianco, and rosato wines from Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc, each meeting the DOC's minimum 12% alcohol threshold.
