The estate commands three DOCG zones spanning 183 municipalities in total: Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato, where indigenous Ruchè grapes yield distinctive rossos at 12.5% alcohol minimum; Terre Alfieri, encompassing both white Arneis and red Nebbiolo expressions; and Barbera d'Asti, the broad-based designation drawing from 165 communes. Each appellation represents a distinct terroir signature, from the specialized Ruchè microcosm to the expansive Barbera landscape requiring four-month minimum aging in wood.
