Fordongianus

In the historic Barigadu region of Oristano, Fordongianus channels its thermal microclimate and volcanic soils into highly localized viticulture. Among the 19 protected denominations that overlap here, the Tharros IGT wine appellation—restricted to a zone of 78 municipalities—is the most local expression of this rugged terroir. Additionally, grape varieties like Nuragus di Cagliari DOC find a home in these mineral-rich lands.
