In the undulating Marmilla hills of southern Sardinia, the tiny community of Genuri nurtures a viticultural heritage shaped by this historical sub-region's rolling terrain. This pocket of Medio Campidano hosts 18 protected denominations. Here, the sweet Girò di Cagliari DOC finds its footing within a designated zone of 182 municipalities, benefiting from the specific soils of these marly hills. Alongside it, the ancient Nasco di Cagliari DOC represents another local specialty deeply rooted in Genuri's terrain, where dry winds and sunny slopes coax intense aromatics from the grapes.
