This small territory claims a share in 18 protected denominations. Chief among these local treasures is the rare Girò di Cagliari DOC, a historic red wine born from clay-limestone soils that intensify its sweet, velvety character. Alongside it, the ancient Nasco di Cagliari DOC thrives in this warm, Mediterranean microclimate. These low-yielding, traditional grape varieties find an ideal sanctuary here, translating the island's sun-drenched terroir into highly expressive, niche bottles.
