Sarroch

Sarroch is a coastal community of nearly five thousand residents situated within the metropolitan area of Cagliari on Sardinia's southern coast. Its maritime breeze and sun-baked soils shape the character of the region's ancient viticulture. Here, 18 protected denominations overlap, celebrating the preservation of historic grape varieties. Notable among these is the rare Girò di Cagliari DOC, a sweet wine deeply tied to this territory, alongside the native Nasco di Cagliari DOC. These distinct wines reflect a unique coastal terroir where sea air naturally concentrates the sugars and aromas of local grapes.
